The Unavoidable Project
Exam project, BA in fine arts with focus on jewellery making at Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, Sweden, 2009.
It consists of five photos put together in a cross. The materials used were hearts and hair. (To all my old classmates, I’m so sorry for the smell.)
The work is an investigation of the themes of pain, mortality and eternity in Christianity, and personal pain in connection to the pain of being human. When working with this project, the loss of a murdered loved one was processed.
